Who is Amy?
Amy Cremen, born May 17, 1981, is a woman with a quirky sense of humor and a lovable character. She is also teeming with talent. With her remarkable voice, she has moved audiences and claimed victory in competitions. She does very well in front of packed auditoriums, arenas filled with sports fans, and cameras on national television, where she first garnered country-wide acclaim.
Amy was not always the girl who stepped onto the show The Biggest Loser: Families. The issues that led her there crept up on her, like they do for so many. She lost a lot during that during those times and even could not recognize herself in the mirror. She was 239 pounds and she needed help. With her mother Shellay, Amy managed to secure a spot on the show. There she found the assistance she so desperately needed in the form of trainers Jillian Michaels and Bob Harper. Their drive and determination empowered Amy to battle her weight. After 10 weeks with them, she shed 71 pounds. She followed that phenomenal effort with another 33 pound loss at home. All told, she showed off a 104 pound loss for The Biggest Loser: Families live finale that aired on December 16, 2008.
Equipped with invaluable lessons and practical knowledge, Amy has continued to keep herself healthy and active. Many have said that Amy has inspired them to change their lives, and her sole hope is that she can keep doing so far into the future.
