Training
Willam “Buddy” Butcher and I actually met each other by accident. He was watching my homecoming episode for The Biggest Loser and he saw my cousin Joshua at my homecoming party. Buddy is a wrestling coach at Warren Mott High School and Joshua is on his team! Buddy called Josh to ask him why he was at Amy C’s homecoming party and he replied with “She’s my cousin!” After that, Buddy contacted my Mom and I to speak at his personal training school. We became instant friends and he has been training me ever since. Buddy has trained Helen Phillips, winner of Season 7 of The Biggest Loser, Coleen Skeabeck, contestant on Season 6 of The Biggest Loser, and continues to train my Mom and I. He recently started his own personal training business with a fellow school friend Chris May, called Buddy May’s Fitness. Together, Buddy and Chris make an amazing team with tons of knowledge about health, nutrition, and fitness. They do private personal “in-home” training, which means they come to you! They also do group training, bootcamps, private fitness parties, and much more! From personal experience, Buddy and Chris are amazing and really know what they’re doing. They have the drive and determination to get you in the best shape of your life! They are also the type of team that will really be there for you when you need it. They put the “personal” in personal training. Click on the Buddy May’s Fitness logo to check out their website. You’ll be glad you did!
P90X by Beachbody is a new venture of mine. I was approached by my Facebook friend Chris Amos to try out this “Extreme Home Fitness” workout. I was a little skeptical at first, thinking that this program wasn’t for me. I wanted to lose some more weight and maintain that weight, not bulk up. But, after much hesitation I decided to give it a try. I faithfully did the program for a full week and it kicked my butt! It’s a great workout for an at-home workout program. It really works all of the muscles in your body. One week after I started the P90X program I ran in a 10k race. I was afraid that I wouldn’t be able to get through it. After the race was over, I felt like I could’ve run another 6 miles! I knew this had a lot to do with my personal trainer and incorporating the P90X program into that normal routine. My endurance is now amazing! I feel as though I am able to accomplish anything now. The program, along with my normal workouts with my personal trainer, has helped me shed pounds as well as gain lean muscle, which in turn burns more fat off of my body. I am getting in the best shape of my life! If anyone is interested in the P90X program or ANY of Beachbodys amazing at-home fitness programs, please click on the P90X logo and e-mail Chris Amos at chrisa871@yahoo.com!!
